One of our favourite stop off points on our 3 hour tour is the Bodega La Geria, a vineyard set in breathtaking scenery with the jaw dropping backdrop of Timanfaya National Park.

The Bodega itself was built around 1730 after the last volcanic eruption and is set in 5,225 hectares of breathtaking landscape. The vineyard has a host of local wines for you to test and buy, it goes without saying that only the passengers should test the wine during the buggy tours but its a great place to go back to during your stay here in Lanzarote. If you have a hire car its a great place to visit on your travels or you can book a guided tour at one of the many excursion shops on the island, we highly recommend spending a bit more time looking around, testing our fantastic local wines and finding out more about the history of Lanzarote's wine regions.
